Recommended daily allowance of CO2e

According to the DEFRA website. The average UK citizen is responsible for the creation of over 11.1 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide Equivalent (CO2e) per year. The government's target is to cut this by 80% by 2050. That must mean just over 2 tonnes of CO2e per citizen per year.
This is less than 6kg of CO2e per day per person.
The Green Ration Book allocates a 1.5kg daily ration of CO2e to the following categories: consumables, building, travel and government.
